Code of Ethics
Acanto Studio applies and asks its suppliers and retailers to apply the following fundamental principles:
- Prohibit the employment of minors under the age of 15, unless an administrative court authorizes the employment of minors from the age of 14;
- Prohibit the use of slavery, debt bondage, and forced labor in any form, as well as the use of products or services obtained through such means. The term "forced or compulsory labor" means any work or service imposed on an individual through the threat of punishment or without remuneration, and for which a person has not volunteered;
- Prohibit any type of work which, by its nature or due to the conditions in which it is carried out, could compromise health, safety or morals.
- Prohibit any type of behavior contrary to the dignity of work, in particular practices contrary to the laws regarding remuneration, working hours and working conditions;
- Comply with directly applicable laws on worker representation and the expression of labor rights;
- Prohibit discrimination, particularly racial, ethnic and gender discrimination;
- Prohibit any type of behavior that could lead to sexual harassment or mobbing;
- Comply with directly applicable environmental legislation and implement the three Global Compact principles regarding environmental protection:
Apply a prudential principle to address environmental issues,
Taking initiatives that promote greater environmental responsibility,
Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
Unlawful labor practices and child labor or forced labor are an element contrary to any commercial relationship between Acanto Studio and its suppliers and retailers.
